UK Mail’s new Learning & Development course, Inspire to Aspire, has been shortlisted for a Motor
UK Mail’s latest course, Inspire to Aspire, equips their customer-facing teams with the tools they need to effectively deal with customer enquiries. The course was recently recognised in the Training category of the Motor Transport Awards, with UK Mail achieving finalist status.
Product Director, Tracy Hodges, said, “We are delighted Inspire to Aspire has been shortlisted for the Training award. Our L&D department has been established for less than two years and this achievement is recognition of all of the hard work that many people have put into delivering a new concept of training delivery for UK Mail.”
Inspire to Aspire uses actors to role-play various real-life scenarios. Through acting out these situations, teams at UK Mail gain a unique insight into the customer experience and their emotions when contacting the company.
Based on 4 personality types, the UK Mail L&D team teaches colleagues how to adapt their approach in order to successfully reach a resolution.
UK Mail wanted to provide customer-facing teams with the right mind-set, skills and behaviours to effectively serve customers. By adopting a customer-led approach, the company is able to provide an excellent service in every situation.
The awards celebrate outstanding achievement in the road transport industry. The Training category, which is sponsored by Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), sees UK Mail go up against Cemex UK, DPD UK and Samworth Brothers Supply Chain.
The winner will be announced on 5th July.
