UK Mail awarded Customer Service Excellence accreditation

UK Mail’s Client Services team has received an industry-renowned Customer Service Excellence accreditation. Following an audit, the team was found to have a deep understanding of, and commitment to, Customer Service excellence. This was seen from senior management right through to front-line staff.

Product Director, Tracy Hodges, said “This award is testament to the journey that our Client Services teams have been on over the past 18 months and is recognition to how highly we view customer services in our business.”

The audit took place in the company’s Client Service sites in Ryton, Leeds and Milton Keynes, with each location demonstrating supporting evidence of customer service excellence. The auditors focused on service areas which research shows are a priority for customers, including delivery, timeliness, communication, professionalism and attitude of staff.

The report showed that UK Mail’s commitment to customers is underpinned by robust service level agreements (SLAs). In addition, the company’s Right from the Start programme, which welcomes new clients to the business by providing additional support and guidance in their first 12 weeks of trading, was highlighted as an area of excellence.

The training the Client Services team receive was also found to be above the industry standard, with UK Mail’s Learning & Development programme, Inspire to Aspire, awarded ‘Compliance Plus’. The programme, was also recently recognised in the Motor Transport awards, when it was shortlisted in the Training category.
